Cloudy and cold with a NW wind. The ground froze very hard to dig potatoes. Will and Alice went to Blaine. Me and Harden dug
potatoes.

Cold with a SW rain. In the afternoon, the wind and rain from the NE. I went out to the factory and took out eggs and apple sacks.
Came back and took my dinner at G.W. Fulton’s.

Cloudy and cold with a NW wind all day. I dug some potatoes in the garden. Will and Harden went to the Mill for me and took 20
bushels of buckwheat. Enoch Lovely called this afternoon.
He was moving a man to Blaine.

Cloudy and cold with a West wind. Drizzly rain most all day. Jonathan Hersom was here today after sheep. Mrs. Hallett’s second
wedding today. Cold and dreary tonight. So ends the day.

Cloudy and cold with a NW wind. We was digging potatoes all day and Harden went to Blaine in the evening. Jud Straight called and
Mrs. F. Glidden here. Also, Mr. J. Murray.

Some clouds and warm with a NW wind. We was digging potatoes. We finished up by Harden’s 26 bbls. Dr. A. J. Fulton called this
evening to see about sheep.

Cold with a NE rain all night and till noon today. Cleared quite cold. Fred Blackden and wife and family was here this afternoon.

gathering my apples this afternoon, except some crabs.

Clear and cold with a NW wind. We was digging potatoes all day. Harden took the first load to the factory this morning, 11 bbls.
At 55 cents per bbl. A.J. Fulton, M.D. and Abe Turner called today.

Cloudy and cold with SE wind. Some rain in the afternoon. I was digging potatoes. Harden went to Blaine with sheep for Aaron.

Mostly clear and warm. We was digging potatoes all day today and hauling in. J.W. Fulton and Ralph Forsythe was here this evening.

here today. I sent Mrs. George Hallett one bushel of apples.

Clear and cold with a NW wind. We was digging potatoes all day. Harden took the first load to the factory this morning at 55 cents
per bbl. A.J. Fulton and Abe Turner called. (This is a repeat of Wednesday, the 12th events. Uncertain as to how grandfather got
this mixed up)

Cloudy and very foggy this morning. The wind from the NE. Commenced to rain about 7 o’clock and rained all day. Myself and wife,
Will and Alice went to Quilting at Harden’s.

Cloudy and cool with a NW wind. I went to Brawn’s this morning and got Mare shawed and took out two bushels of apples, two pairs
of socks, six dozen eggs and two for which I received $2.84 from York & Luce. I got an order from Jones for 250′ of plank.

Some clouds and very heavy cold West wind. I was home all day. Will and Harden went to G.W. Fulton’s ‘Wood Frolick’ in the
afternoon. I pulled my beets this afternoon.

Cloudy and cold with a NW wind. I was home all day doing chores. Pulled my carrots. Harden went up to Jones’ Mill and got some
plank for stable floor.

Very cloudy with a SE wind. Myself and wife went over to John D. Lindsey’s and took dinner. Saw McManus and wife. J.D. Lindsey’s
daughter went up to Fred Blackden’s and took tea and drove home before dark.

Cold with a NW moderate rain all day. Isaac Straight here today and got some oil. J.W. Fulton here for oil.

Cold and cool with a NW wind. I went out today and got the carriage mended at Brawn’s shop. Cost $1.25. Took dinner at J.W.
Webster’s. Received $4.25 for factory potatoes. Will and George here.

Cloudy and cool with a SE wind. I was home all day choring. Signs of rain and sprinkled some a little through the day. Will and
Harden commenced plowing.

Cloudy and cool with a NW wind. I was home all day choring. Will and Harden was plowing all day. John Jamison was in here this
evening with a woman peddler.

Cloudy and cool with a NW wind. I was home all day. W.W. Larrabee and wife and Harden went out to the store of York & Luce. Will
got a bbl of flour today.

Cloudy and cool with a West wind. Myself and wife went to Blaine this morning and took our dinner and tea at Dr. A.J. Fulton’s. I
settled with B.F. Jones. Came up to Richard Bell’s and stayed all night.

Cloudy and cold with a NW wind and heavy frost. We left R. Bell’s this forenoon about 11 o’clock after breakfast. We drove up to
G.W. Fulton’s and took our dinners. Made a short visit and drove home.

Cloudy and cold with a West wind. A cold wind all day. I was helping Harden all day at his horse stable and choring.
